The Tennessee Titans signed free-agent G Kyle DeVan, the team announced Monday. To make room for him on the 90-man roster, the Titans waived UDFA RB Darryl Whiting.
DeVan (6-2, 305) has three seasons of NFL experience and has logged 25 starts split between the Indianapolis Colts and Philadelphia Eagles. He played in five games for the Eagles last season after spending two seasons with the Colts. DeVan, out of Oregon St. University, originally entered the NFL as an undrafted free agent with the Washington Redskins.
DeVan, who didn’t sign with another team last season after the Eagles cut him in November, will provide experience behind starting Gs Steve Hutchinson and Leroy Harris.
