The Jacksonville Jaguars waived/injured UDFA rookie DE Steven Wesley (North Alabama).

Wesley suffered a knee injury in the preseason opener against the New England Patriots Aug. 11.

With this move, the Jaguars roster is now at 84 players. All NFL teams must reduce their rosters to 80 by 4 pm ET. (Tuesday) Aug. 30. Teams must get to the 53-player limit by 6:00 pm ET on (Saturday) Sept. 3.

If Wesley passes through waivers unclaimed, he'll go on injured reserve.
