The Jacksonville Jaguars waived five players on Thursday, reducing their roster to 85.
Waived were two third-year players WR Tiquan Underwood and S Michael Hamlin, second-year LB Slade Norris, and two first-year players in K Sam Swank and P Brent Bowden.
The Jaguars are now down to 10 wide receivers, six safeties, nine linebackers, one punter, and one kicker on their roster.
NFL teams must reduce their rosters from the current limit of 90 to 80 by 4 pm ET this Tuesday (8/30). Final cuts to the 53-player limit will be next Saturday (9/3).
