Cutdown day is here

By 6:00 pm ET today, all 32 NFL teams must be at the mandatory player limit of 53.

Some teams got started at getting closer to that number on Friday, but many have not many any moves. That will all change in a matter of hours.

Teams may begin signing practice squad players beginning at 12:00 pm ET on Sunday.

Players released who have at least four years of service will be able to sign with a new team immediately after being released. Players with less than four years of service are subject to waivers. Those players who are waived by 6:00 pm ET on Saturday could have a new home by 12:00 pm ET on Sunday if they’re claimed by another team.

You can follow every transaction as they happen today and every day on our transaction wire.

And you can also follow our constantly updated list of the best available free agents on offense and defense.
